From the site http://www.homophobiaday.org:
The International Day Against Homophobia, held on May 17 every year, is a rallying event offering an opportunity for people to get together and reach out to one another. Fondation Émergence promotes, mainly on a pan-Canadian level, the International Day Against Homophobia and encourages organisations and individuals to highlight this event in their environment.
Starting on May 17, a group of M/M romance writers and publishers will participate in a blog hop to, in the words of the organizers, “spread awareness of homophobia and to stand together as an M/M writer community against discrimination of what we write about.” More here or click on the graphic below.
Participants will post about homophobia and give away M/M fiction-related prizes to blog visitors. I’m offering a copy of “Ad-Dick-tion, Volume 2.”
